Aspen Hospitality will add its Little Nell luxury brand to Rockefeller Center in New York. The hotel will offer approximately 130 rooms on 10 floors, and will transfer the design of the original located in Aspen open since 1989 to the Big Apple hotel.
If approved, the project will open in 2026. “As Midtown Manhattan re-emerges strongly and Rockefeller Center must play an integral role, as a multi-use destination for business, tourism, dining and entertainment,” Aspen Hospitality said in a statement.
Aspen is also planning expansion of its Limelight Hotels, to add to the three properties it currently has in operation: Limelight Aspen, Limelight Ketchum and Limelight Snowmass, and three more to open in 2024 and 2025.

The renovated main house features 33 rooms, meeting rooms, 16 private cabanas, overlooking Shelter Island’s Crescent Beach. One of the highlights is the lobby where guests check-in, made up of a lounge and a “story room” with archival photos.
