The Winnipeg Jets defeated the Vegas Golden Knights in the first game of the first round of the National Hockey League (NHL) playoffs. The meeting ended with the score 5:1.
As part of the winners, Adam Lowry (59th and 60th minutes) scored a double, Kyle Connor (22), Pierre-Luc Dubois (23) and Blake Wheeler (44) scored one goal each. The hosts scored William Karlsson (36).

Barron notedthat the first thought after the collision was that he did not hurt his eyes and that’s the main thing. “I was trying to figure out if the puck went in because it was pretty close. I saw a horse approaching me. It was an unfortunate moment. The first thought was that I could see with the (right) eye, that’s the main thing, ”said Barron AP.
Barron, 24, has been with Winnipeg since the 2021-22 season. In the last regular season, he played in 70 games, in which he scored 21 points (8 goals and 13 assists). This match was the striker’s debut in the Stanley Cup.
The score in the series to four wins was 1-0 in favor of Winnipeg. The second match will take place on April 21 in Las Vegas.
