Then lyrics sound like, “I’m never letting you get close to me again.” Even though you mean the most to me. Because every time I open up, it hurts.’ Also the words ‘and every time you walk away the less I love you Baby. We don’t stand a chance, it’s sad, but it’s true. Sam then sings that he is “way too good” at saying goodbye. “Not a chance you’ll see me cry,” he concludes. It seems that Gavin is addressing these words to his ex Gordon.
Rumors about the break between Gordon and Gavin, 24 years his junior, have been circulating since Tuesday. The Telegraph reported that Gordon would have flown back earlier from a trip to Australia, Gavin’s home country.
