As in the previous two quarter-finals, we did not start well in the meeting on Tuesday evening, but we discussed things during the break and improved in all elements of the game. We don’t always perform well, but every player gives 100 percent in all training sessions, and we made it to the top four as a team. I really hope that this was only the first step, we want to go far this season, said our head coach, Alejandro Zubillaga.
Gábor Forray, the coach of the Alfölds, managed Fehérvár two years ago. After the defeat, he wished his former band good luck in the future.

As in the previous two matches, I congratulate my own team this time as well, as we mobilized enormous forces. In the first half, everything happened as we planned, but we didn’t throw extra shots, if we aimed better in that period and didn’t make any mistakes at the end of the second quarter, then we could have won the match. However, we suddenly gave away two balls and ended the campaign badly three times, and the home team left. I calculated that we got 6-8 points in four seconds, which turned out to be too many. This was the turning point, and in the end we were crushed. The difference came out, the longer bench, the bigger physique, the athletic abilities. No bad words can touch us, I am proud of my players. I also tried to give the young people a chance, which I succeeded in doing. We were close again, it wasn’t much, but in the critical moments, Alba concentrated more, put more pressure on us, which we couldn’t stand. Now there is a break for us, and then we will continue the work. And Fehérvár has a place in the final.
