“The Sound Poets” opens Latvian concert tour in Smiltene for acoustic concert series “By the fire”

With a concert in Smiltene on the evening of April 14 and an afternoon concert in Jēkabpils on April 16, the group “The Sound Poets” has opened the acoustic concert series “By the fire”.

Jānis Aišpurs is happy: “The tour has started. Although only two of the 14 concerts have been played, we are happy.”

“I would be lying if I said that there was no excitement in the band’s camp and there is still a little bit of excitement now – although we are the same, the songs have new arrangements, and there are also various instruments playing. We counted that there are 14 instruments on the stage. We are very we were waiting for the start of the tour and now that it has happened, we are very happy and satisfied to meet again, how the audience lives and sings along!” says the musician.

The future concerts of the acoustic concert series “By one fire” will take place in Valmiera, Alūksne, Sigulda, Jelgava, Rēzekne, Liepāja, Riga, Madona, Saldus and Ventspils. The tour was supplemented with two concerts in Saldus and Sigulda. Sigulda’s concerts will be filmed by ReTv. As part of the tour, this program will be played at the “Silver Seagull” festival in the Liepupe Town Hall on April 26.

The group “The Sound Poets” consists of Jānis Aišpurs, Undīne Balode, Kārlis Jost, Normunds Lukša and Pēteris Lunde.

Tickets for the concerts are available for purchase at the ticket offices of “Bilešu Paradise”..
