Sibling Scooter Crash Sends Sister to Hospital

Two scooter riders crashed into each other this morning in Wijk en Aalburg. The two turned out to be brother and sister. The woman was injured and taken to hospital. The brother was checked by paramedics, but did not have to go.

The accident happened on the Perzikstraat near the Willem van Oranje College. They rode scooters on the bike path. In addition to several ambulances, a trauma helicopter was also called. But it was later canceled. It is not yet clear how the accident happened.
