Students from Tlaxcala received their official documentation from ITEA
Tlaxcala, Tlax., April 18, 2023 (Editorial).-In order to reduce the educational gap in the entity, the state government, through the Tlaxcalan Institute for Adult Education (ITEA), delivered certificates to 40 students who accredited the completion of their primary and secondary education.
During the ceremony held at the Coordination 05 Tlaxcala facilities, 20 certificates were given and the rest will be delivered to the students’ homes in support of their work and economic activities.
The general director of ITEA, Michaelle Brito Vázquez, recognized the work of the educational personnel for the commitment they have with people over 15 years of age, while congratulating the students for transforming their lives and that of Tlaxcala.
“You are already part of the new history of Tlaxcala, the accreditation of your studies is the result of the sum of efforts, from the commitment that you had to encourage yourself to study,” he said.
Obtaining this document, with official validity, will allow people to access better development opportunities according to their personal interests, such as insertion into the productive sector, job growth or continuing their educational process by being able to enter the upper secondary level.
On behalf of the students, 62-year-old Margarita Pérez Montiel thanked the state administration and the institute for giving her the opportunity to complete her primary and secondary education, as well as being an example for the little ones in her family.
“Thank you because there are people who motivated me to continue with my education, thanks to Governor Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros, to ITEA, to my teacher for her time and dedication,” she said.
This is how the government headed by Lorena Cuéllar Cisneros endorses its commitment to the Tlaxcalans in a situation of educational lag and promotes comprehensive development in society.
