Rajasthan Royals will face Lucknow Super Giants in IPL today. The match will be played at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, home of Rajasthan Royals, at 7.30 pm. Rajasthan Royals are returning to their home ground after a gap of three years.

Apart from Ryan Paragin’s ongoing poor form, Rajasthan Royals are strong. Batting depth starting from Yashaswi Jaiswal to Ashwin, accurate role distribution, three world class spinners and a very good pace department. Apart from polishing here and there, Rajasthan Royals are a very balanced team. The roles given to Shimron Hetmyer, Yuzvendra Chahal and R Ashwin have been crucial in Rajasthan’s performances. Akash may try Vashisht or Abdul Basit in place of Parag. Adam Sampa will continue as it is a pitch where spinners get assists. Murugan Ashwin or Jason Holder may play instead if they decide to replace Sampa.

On the other hand, Lucknow is also a strong team. Deepak Hooda’s poor form is a concern. Lucknow only have the resources to field a player like Quinton de Kock. KL Rahul’s return to form is a good sign. With Amit Mishra along with Josh Khan, Yudhvir Singh, Mark Wood and Ravi Bishnoi, Lucknow will be an intimidating bowling unit.
