Lublin IT Day, i.e. IT job fairs (photos)

– We invited various representatives from the IT market to present their job and internship offers to our students. There are about a thousand people studying at the IT department, so there is a lot of interest in the event, because every student thinks about their career path. Many of our volunteers have completed internships in companies and are now taking up employment – says Jakub Stanik, career counselor from the Lublin University of Technology.

The Career Office of the Lublin University of Technology cooperates with companies looking for employees, selecting candidates who best meet the criteria. The event was attended by exhibitors from the following companies: Asseco, Britenet, Comarch, DataArt, Romico, posnet, QnwelQ, Efecte and many others.

As the students emphasize, working in this industry is associated with the most flexible form of employment, and thus, high earnings and a rich package of additional benefits.

Denis is from Ukraine. At the fair, he was looking for job offers related to programming microcontrollers. As he says himself, he is proficient in various programming techniques. Maksim also comes from Ukraine and sees his future in the web development industry. He praises the fair, because thanks to it, students establish relations with potential employers.

Working in IT is one of the most stable forms of employment nowadays. Also, the amount of remuneration encourages young people to develop in this field. The exhibitors ensure that despite the difficulties the economy is currently facing, the industry is still developing, and they themselves plan to enlarge their teams at various levels.
