Let’s also note that here we are talking about banning the supply of weapons and ammunition to conflict zones by countries that have bought them from Switzerland.
Today, to send Swiss-made weapons to Kiev, it is necessary to obtain permission from the authorities of the confederation.
But at the same time, Berset also noted the importance of studying the situation in order to be ready for changes if necessary.
Declaring that they adhere to the rules, the Swiss president said, “If necessary, it is important that we adapt them.”
It should be noted that Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov likes to repeat that the conflict in Ukraine would have ended long ago if it were not for the West. (…of course, with the victory of the Russians, and then?A.B.)
