Gavin Guerrine, a man from Tallaght, Ireland, remains in hospital in serious condition following an incident believed to be part of a local tit-for-tat dispute. The dispute also involved the shooting of a house. Associates of Guerrine are reportedly involved in the dispute. Guerrine has previously served five years in prison after driving a car over a man believed to have been involved in the killing of his brother. The victim of that incident died in 2010. In January 2011, Guerrine was sentenced to 10 years with the last five years suspended on certain conditions. He was warned in February this year, that if he failed again to engage with probation services, he could serve five years of his original sentence. Gardaí in Tallaght have made an appeal for information in connection with the latest incidents.
