Traffic Congestion on Jakarta’s Roads Ahead of Eid 2023 Holidays

Congestion occurred on a number of roads in Jakarta on the last day of work ahead of collective leave and the Idul Fitri or Eid 2023 holidays. Congestion occurred on toll and non-toll roads.

“16.31 WIT The Pluit Inner City Toll Road in the direction of Tiga Bridge is congested, traffic volume density. Slipi-Cawang is congested, traffic volume density,” Jasa Marga wrote via its Twitter account @PTJASAMARGA, Tuesday (18/4/2023).

Traffic jams also occur on the Inner City Toll Road from Kuningan towards Tomang and Pluit towards Kapuk. Then, traffic jams occurred on the JORR toll road from Jatiasih towards Cikunir, Pondok Pinang towards Veterans, and Ulujami towards Pondok Pinang. While in Rorotan the direction to TMII is smooth.

The opposite direction to Pluit-Kapuk is monitored densely (vehicle traffic volume). Keep your vehicle a safe distance. The weather is cloudy,” wrote Senkom Citra Marga Nusaphala Persada (CMNP), which manages the toll road section via its Twitter account @SenkomCMNP.

Traffic jams also occur on non-toll roads. Among others, on Jalan Kramat Raya towards Matraman, Jalan KH Mas Mansyur towards Tanah Abang, Jalan Metro Pondok Indah, and a number of other roads.
