Carol Vorderman talks monkey attacks as ITV stars prepare for ‘I’m A Celebrity’ legend challenge

ITV viewers will see Carol Vorderman and other stars compete to become South Africa’s first ‘I’m a Celebrity’ legend. Ahead of the special edition of the popular series, Carol Vorderman, 62, revealed some of her antics during her period of isolation, during which she was attacked by monkeys.

The TV presenter is among the most memorable campmates in the show’s history ‘I Am A Celebrity’ in the new series which was filmed last year.

Carol told her 104,000 TikTok followers that she also witnessed mating calls from wild animals, beautiful sunsets and spent a lot of time swimming. exercise.

Viewers got a taste of what to expect in the new series, with a teaser clip showing some of the stars tackling jaw-dropping challenges.
Helen jumps on inflatable balloons suspended in the air, Janice tries to swallow food during the feeding test and Paul Burrell screams in terror when he confronts certain exotic creatures.
The new series will have a slightly different format than fans are used to as there will be no audience voting.
Instead, they will face off in an attempt to land the title of the show’s first “legend.”
Carol first appeared on the ITV original series in 2016 alongside Adam Thomas, Joel Dommett and Larry Lamb.
Speaking about her time on the show seven years ago, the 62-year-old confessed it changed her a lot.

She said: “I realized that I was missing a lot of things that I loved shortly after leaving the camp.
“I bought a small house in West Wales. I love Wales and I like going out at night. I have a converted van and I lead a somewhat hippie life!
“I paddle board all the time now. We come to a point in life where we think everything is just a bonus. You can’t say ‘I’ll do this in 20 years’.
“It made me understand that you have to live in the present moment. I want to say a big thank you to Ant &; Dec when I see them in South Africa and I can’t wait to participate in this new series. I loved everything about “I’m a Celebrity”.
