Finding Freedom: Hana Kusnjerová’s Journey to Inner Harmony

Hana Kusnjerová has had two challenging years behind her. After breaking up with her partner, she moved into a new apartment with her young daughter, suffered from panic attacks and was looking for her lost inner harmony. “Thanks to the intense work on myself, I have moved on and found more freedom in many areas of my life,” says the actress, who currently stars in the series Golden Swan, Rose Garden Surgery, and The Last Sacrifice.

Hana today, he lives with his daughter in a small rented apartment in the residential district of Kobylis in Prague. “After the breakup, I was looking for something within walking distance of my previous residence. I wanted my daughter to stay in the same neighborhood where her father lives, with whom we now have alternating custody. Another condition was to have a wooden floor and double-glazed windows in the apartment, no plastic bags,” says the actress and dubber, who in the past lent her voice to Queen Elizabeth II. and Victoria, Princess Sisi or Archduchess Marie Antoinette.

Kusnjerová lives modestly and is a little old. She likes to go to the store with canisters, and everything she buys she uses up to the last drop. “I started leaning towards ecology, a Zen approach and sustainability. I feel like an old grandmother, only I’m 50 years younger. I buy food without packaging, I have one soap, and I won’t buy a new one until the old one is completely used up,” laughs the sympathetic thirty-seven-year-old .

The actress and voice actress has long been troubled by how much waste people produce and where all the packaging ends up. “In the locality where I live, 99 percent of the waste is taken to the landfill outside Prague. That is also why I tried to reduce my waste to the absolute minimum. When I started with zero waste a few years ago, it was difficult for me not to be scrupulously careful about it. I was calmed down by a friend who told me that if I did just one packaging-free purchase every six months, it would help the planet. If another thousand people do it, they would know. Now I still try to produce as little waste as possible, but I don’t experience it so much anymore, ” he says.

She likes to keep her apartment clean and over the years has reduced the number of things she needs in life. “I moved here with ten bags and I hope to leave with ten,” she says.
