Indonesia’s Minister of Defense, Prabowo Subianto, has urged Indonesian students studying in Germany to return to Indonesia after completing their studies. Subianto stated that the country needs contributions from accomplished youth to develop the nation. Speaking to Indonesian students during his visit to the 2023 Hannover Messe in Germany, Subianto recounted the challenges he faced studying abroad in his youth and encouraged students to overcome similar challenges. He also emphasised that studying overseas is a golden opportunity that they must utilise well. During his interactions with students, Subianto spoke German with them and agreed to a group photograph.
