Japanese stock indices rose in the morning trading session on the Tokyo Stock Exchange today, Tuesday.
The Nikkei average of 225 shares rose 160.54 points, or 0.56%, to 28,675.32 points.
The broader Topix index added 15.17 points, or 0.75%, to reach 2,042.14 points.
