“Patrol Car Collides with Vehicle in Hanau, Four Slightly Injured”

Hanau (dpa / lhe) – When a patrol car collided with a car in Hanau, four people were slightly injured. The patrol car was occupied by four police officers on Monday afternoon, the police said. Three of them were slightly injured, as was the 27-year-old driver of the other car. The 26-year-old driver of the patrol car and the 27-year-old were taken to the hospital for treatment. According to previous information, the seven-year-old passenger of the 27-year-old and a 25-year-old police officer were unharmed.

According to initial findings, the driver of the police car apparently wanted to perform a turning maneuver on the way to an operation and using the blue lights. The exact cause of the accident and the course of events have not yet been finally clarified and are the subject of further investigations. The road was temporarily closed in both directions for the rescue.
