“Grizzli” space and abundance of goods attract not only people from Veiviržės

The grocery store “Grizzlis” opened its doors in renovated premises in the center of Veiviržėnai town this spring, which Veiviržėnai residents have been waiting for for several months. They welcomed the new owners, Valdas Mažutis and Mantas Veryga from Šiluti, with flowers. The spacious shopping hall has a wide assortment, the products are conveniently arranged. “Competition is a welcome thing,” the townspeople said.

The predictions came true
In Veiviržėnai, shoppers do not need to wander: three stores are located close to each other, two of them are grocery stores. The townspeople always had a choice of where to buy bread and milk, so they eagerly awaited the opening of the Grizzly. “Competition is a welcome thing,” they said.
In a spacious shopping hall with an area of ​​360 sq. m, a wide selection of goods: not only fresh meat and meat products, milk and its products, confectionery, sweets, fish, herring – even the pickiest housewife will find everything she needs for the family table. And if he can’t find it, he asks him to bring capers, for example. And other essential goods – pots, knives, forks, household chemicals or socks and underpants can be bought here.
“We try to make sure that customers can find everything they need, like meat and spices, in one place. Then they will come back here again, – the entrepreneurs are convinced. – We arranged the goods so that it would be convenient to view and choose them, similar to our other stores.”
V. Mažutis and M. Veryga, owners of UAB “Grizlis” from Šiluti, who recently opened their sixth store, have experience in this business. By the way, the last store in Veiviržėnai is the largest.
“Grizlis” stores are located in Saugi, Pagėgiai municipality, Taurage, Šilute, but the businessmen said with a smile that they are not going to stop. They said they plan to have up to ten stores.
After opening in Taurage last fall, six months later they invited Veivirženiai to the establishment. And he was not disappointed: in the first weeks, the turnover was as he imagined and predicted. “There is no jump when the store is opened immediately,” the businessmen said.

Offers premises for a pharmacy
In this difficult time, when a number of small shops are closing, young people from Šiluti, owners of several shops, are expanding their business. Why did you choose Veivirženi? “It is necessary to predict whether the investment will pay off or whether it is worth the risk – we have tried many businesses, we are “on fire”. We were interested in the situation in this town – there were many people who wanted to open a store here,” said M. Veryga and added that it is more convenient to open in the former shopping area, because they already know it, and not in the new one, which needs to be popularized.
Thus, V. Mažutis and M. Veryga, the owners of UAB “Grizlis” from Šiluti, decided to purchase the premises of the former store in the town of Veiviržėnai. In a couple of months, he carried out cosmetic repairs, renovated the premises, and promises to invest more in the future and beautify the first floor of the building. “First you need to work and earn money,” said V. Mažutis.
There are 6 jobs in the Grizzly store. According to the owners, veiviržešniki people work here, but there are also svekškėsniškis. “It wasn’t difficult to form a team – it’s a vibrant town, people are looking for work,” they said.
The businessmen are satisfied that the people of Veivirženice welcomed them in a friendly manner. “It’s nice that they waited for us, they received us nicely – people from the community came to congratulate us, representatives of the Crafts Center, even politicians came,” revealed V. Mažutis.
The businessmen said that they are free – they are not connected to any association, therefore they do not have any restrictions, they can transport goods both from Lithuania and from abroad. “We have our own price policy,” the interlocutors assured.
Businessmen are ready to rent a room for a flower shop, which is currently sorely lacking in the town, as the former shop has closed. “A pharmacy is also very necessary here – residents are waiting for it. We offer a nicely renovated, cozy room – maybe there will be people who want to set it up here, – the owners of “Grizzli” hoped. “Then those who visit here would buy food, flowers, and vitamins.”
