An investigation has been launched following a violent incident in the Kiltalown area of Jobstown in Tallaght, Dublin. Shots were fired at a house and a man was struck by a car at around 5pm. The victim, a man in his 30s, is in critical condition. Another man, in his 20s, is also in hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Witnesses reported seeing men on motorbikes wearing balaclavas approach the area before the shots were fired. The car used in the attack was later found burnt out nearby on Mount Seskin Road. Police sealed off a number of crime scenes for forensic analysis and are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
