Actor Dany Boon, guest of the show “Quelle Epoque!” on April 15, read a text written by his wife, Laurence Arné, about a woman who committed suicide on January 1, 2021 in Toulon.
Dany Boon took part in a moving sequence on the set of “Quelle Epoque!”, Saturday April 15. While he was the guest of Léa Salamé, the presenter asked the actor to read a text, written by the wife of Dany Boon, the actress Laurence Arné, about the suicide of Odile Nasri who was killed on January 1, 2021 in Toulon.
“Forced suicide”
Odile Nasri killed herself at the age of 50 on a beach in Toulon. Following his death, his sister Fadila Nasri had filed a complaint for “forced suicide”, denouncing the psychological violence of Odile’s husband perpetrated for 10 years.
After meeting Fadila, Laurence Arné wanted to pay tribute to Odile by writing a text published in Sara Barukh’s book “125 and thousands: 125 personalities recount 125 victims of feminicide”.
