To sing. FC Singen had something to do well, namely a superfluous defeat last weekend. Now there was the Easter egg with a sovereign 4:2 against the relegation candidate Kehler FV afterwards. The victory was not associated with a gain in position, but the defeats of Linx and Kuppenheim, who are ahead of the singers in the table, have brought the top group together considerably. Only four points separate the seventh-placed singers from second place (Lahr).
The Singen will to win was clearly felt on the pitch. Even though the guests had the first chance, Antonio Ruberto was more consistent and gave the blue and yellow the lead in the sixth minute. Of course, it went up to the 39th minute and Kehl had a few very good chances, until Sebastian Stark made it 2-0, and the goal wasn’t cold yet when it was Ruberto again, who made it 3 in the 40th minute: 0 raised, both had been served fairly well by Zidan.
Of course, the game wasn’t over yet. Kehl scored the first goal just before the break whistle, the goal scorer Simon Schulze was rewarded for his perseverance in the 71st minute with the goal to make it 2:3 from Kehl’s point of view, and the Singen cushion had already become thin. Now Kehl threw everything forward, but the defense knew how to keep it under control. Finally, Antonio Ruberto pulled through Kehl’s defenses and sealed the victory with his 4:2 victory. Of course, there was a very special compliment from coach Christian Jeske.
Next weekend, the Hohentwieler travel to bottom of the table RW Elchesheim.
