At the dawn of the “money-time” of the women’s D2, Lille and ASSE fly to the D1 Arkema. Nîmes is officially relegated.

Group A: Lille towards the rise, Orléans in danger

Lille struck a blow. Passed very close to the rise last season, LOSC gleaned a victory which brings them even closer this year. Opposed to Strasbourg, second with five points behind, LOSC won their duel (1-0). Now eight points ahead, four games from the end of the exercise, Lille have the climb in their hands.

At the same time, Nantes achieved an important performance against Orléans, the first not to be relegated. The Nantaises won at home (2-0), despite the efforts of the Loiretaines to equalize in the second half. While the Canaries go back to 7th place, a small point behind Orleans.

Note the new defeat of Lens (1-0), in a very bad pass in 2023, against Saint-Malo, which is three lengths from Orleans. THE Sang et Or remain five units away from the red zone.

Group B: Marseille offside, Toulouse feeds on regrets

OM have undoubtedly said goodbye to their hopes of D1 Arkema. In front at half-time against Grenoble (1-0), the Marseillaises were caught and finally beaten by their opponents (1-3). ASSE, winner of Le Puy (0-5) now has a 9-point lead out of 12 still in play and is heading straight for the elite. Grenoble returns to 7th place, 4 points behind Albi.

While they held the point of the draw at half-time (0-0), the Toulousaines gave in as soon as they returned from the locker room (48′, 1-0). At the same time, Albi took the opportunity to move away from the other candidates for maintenance thanks to his victory against Nîmes (0-5). Last of the group, the Nîmes are officially relegated to D3.
