Simplex/SSS sees WSV pass in the last competition round.

It wasn’t to be. Simplex/SSS may not crown itself champion in the second division B. What SSS, perhaps against their better judgement, already feared, happened on the last competition day. Competitor WSV made no mistake in its last home game against Devoko and won with the necessary maximum numbers. The team from Warnsveld took the necessary 5 points and is therefore champion. The Barnevelders follow at 1 point.
The grapes are sour for the Barnevelders, because after the great series of wins in a row, SSS ended up against Trivos. The 3-2 defeat turned out to be all-decisive and both trainer and players will sometimes think back to that narrowly lost second set that eventually killed SSS.
