Today, Sunday, April 16, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) will carry out vaccination campaigns in 14 Banco de la Nación agencies in different regions, aimed especially at the beneficiaries of the Pensión 65 program and their families.
Vaccination will take place from 7 am to 1 pm in the agencies of Huaraz (Áncash), Jaén (Cajamarca), Moyobamba (San Martín), Iquitos and Yurimaguas (Loreto), Tumbes, Pucallpa (Ucayali), Huánuco, Huancayo (Junín), Juliaca (Puno), Ayacucho, Andahuaylas ( Apurímac), Piura, Trujillo (La Libertad), Santo Tomás and Sicuani (Cusco).
Each agency will provide all doses against covid-19, including the bivalent booster vaccine, in addition to the Regular Scheme vaccines that protect against hepatitis B, tetanus, diphtheria, pneumococcus, among others.
In the case of Lima, a vaccination brigade will be at the headquarters of the Banco de la Nación in the district of Puente Piedra (Av. Puente Piedra, No. 180, Panamericana Norte Km. 31).
The goal is to vaccinate more than 3,600 people, including Pensión 65 users and their families. María Martínez Barrera, executive director of Immunizations at Minsa, explained that the sector continues to seek strategic allies to close the vaccination gaps against covid-19 throughout the country.
“Given the slight increase in infections, the objective is to protect the most vulnerable people, avoid the consequences of covid-19 and reduce the mortality rate,” said the graduate.
