This week, the heartwarming and grateful program “Say it out loud” celebrated its anniversary – the 100th program. As is customary for the holidays, the program was visited by a special guest – the leader of the group “The Sound Poets”. Jānis Aišpurs.
During the conversation, he will recall the story of the band’s origin and reveal how it is possible to play two concerts with a difference of two hours, which many might think is impossible.
Along with stories about the formation of the group, the group “Smaragdpilsētas burvji” and how he became a musician from a bank employee, Jānis shared a rock star in a worthy story. He once had to use a helicopter to get to a concert.
“I’m not usually late for concerts, once I even had to to reduce helicopter in order not to miss the performance. I’m living a rock and roll dream!” – the musician remembers.
Such a step was taken because Jānis could not refuse a tempting offer. From where to where did the musician fly?
