Michalis Michael, who was appointed yesterday by the President as a member of the Public Service Commission (PSC), has sent a letter of resignation to the President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulidis.
From the first moment that Mr. Michael’s biography was made public, there have been several criticisms from citizens about the authenticity of his university degrees.
As SigmaLive is informed, Mr. Michael made the decision to resign after a communication he had with President Christodoulidis.
Asked about this, the Government Spokesman Constantinos Letymiotis told KYPE that the President accepted the resignation and will proceed as soon as possible with the appointment of another person.
He intends to hold a press conference to clear up the scene created with his resume and name.
His letter is the same
Honorable Mr. President,
With this letter I would like to submit my resignation as a member of the Public Service Commission. The reasons for my resignation are purely out of respect for your person and with the ultimate goal of your political protection. So many non-existent and untrue things have been written against me, which affect my professional qualifications and my professional career. Unfortunately, they leave me no choice but to resign. I reserve all my legal rights. Be sure that very soon I will call a press conference with the ultimate aim of restoring the truth to my person and at the same time justifying your choice.
I would like to wish you a happy Resurrection and good continuation in the difficult work you are doing.
Yours sincerely,
Michael Michalakis
