She wrote a comic art case for her unique personality that does not recur, and she was distinguished alongside her talent by spontaneity, simplicity and quick wit. She won many titles, including: “Light Shadow”, “Comedy Fruit”, “Country Girl”, “Theater Harp”, and “Cinema Maiden”. Although she was married several times.
Zainab Muhammad Saad was born on May 4, 1912 in Alexandria, and she studied acting at the age of 13 at the “Ansar Acting and Horsemanship” Institute, which was founded by Zaki Tulaimat. With her family’s refusal to complete her studies or enter the artistic community, she married her cousin when she was 15 years old, and the marriage lasted only one year, so she decided to be independent from her family and fulfill her artistic dream by working in some teams spread in Alexandria and the regions. Then she moved with the Amin Atallah theatrical troupe to Lebanon, which she decided to exclude after improvising in one of the scenes, so she returned to Cairo and joined the Badia Masabni troupe, and her fame spread in the performance and monologue, and she remained with her for 6 years.
Sidqi met by chance with Naguib Al-Rihani, and he joined her in his band, and he gave her the artistic name “Zaynat Sidqi” so that he would not be similar to an artist at that time named Zainab Sidqi. And she appeared to the audience through the theatrical show “The Egyptian Pound” in 1931, and she embodied the character of a maid. Because of her talent, the playwright Badih Khairy created for her the character of “The Spinster”, which she continued to present on the stage until she entered the world of cinema with the same character through the movie “The Accusation” in 1934. Zeenat remained loyal to Al-Rihani, as she worked in his troupe for 18 years and did not separate from her until after his death in 1934. 1949. She returned to the theater through the Ismail Yassin troupe, which he founded with the writer Abu Al-Saud Al-Abyari, and presented 6 performances with her until she retired from theatrical work in 1960.
Sidqi formed a successful artistic duo with Ismail Yassin, as they collaborated together on more than 40 works, the most famous of which are “Ibn Hamido” and “The Green Threshold”.
During her career, Zeenat presented more than 170 films, and Anwar Wagdy was keen to use her in all of his films that he produced, describing them as “Wish Al-Saad.”
