The sixth country refused fencing tournaments because of Russia
The Norwegian Fencing Federation decided not to send athletes to competitions with the participation of Russians and Belarusians, and also canceled the tournament under the auspices of the FIE in Oslo. Earlier tournaments were canceled in Germany, Finland, Sweden, Poland and Denmark.

The Norwegian Fencing Federation (NF) will not send athletes to tournaments with the participation of athletes from Russia and Belarus, according to the organization’s website.
“After the majority at the Congress of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) decided to re-admit Russians and Belarusians, the NF board decided not to send athletes to competitions and championships with Russian or Belarusian participation,” the message says.

It was also decided to cancel the annual tournament in Oslo, which was held under the auspices of the FIE. “Instead, a tournament outside the jurisdiction of the FIE will be organized, which will be part of the Nordic Challenge in cooperation with Sweden and Finland, who have made similar decisions for their events,” the report also said.
On March 10, the FIE allowed athletes from Russia and Belarus to participate in tournaments in a neutral status from the second half of April.
After that, the World Cup stage was canceled in Germany, the same was done in France, in Poland they promised to demand that potential participants condemn the special operation, but in the end they also canceled the KM stage, in Finland they decided not to hold a traditional tournament under the auspices of the FIE, also acted in Denmark.
