The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) reported that the easterlies, or eastward winds, will continue to affect the eastern parts of Visayas and Mindanao on Sunday, bringing rain showers to several areas. Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms. PAGASA warns that severe thunderstorms may cause flash floods or landslides. Coastal waters will be slight to moderate across the country. Sunrise was at 5:42 a.m. while sunset will be at 6:10 p.m.
