In the midst of the Moscow invasion which was faltering because Kiev was supported by many NATO countries, especially the United States (US), there are now claims that the President of Russia Vladimir Putin allegedly betrayed by two senior officials. The two are Military Commander General Valery Gerasimov and Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev.
German media reports daily mirrorciting leaked classified US military documents, stated that Generals Gerasimov and Patrushev allegedly tried to sabotage the invasion at the start of the war with the intention of ending it on March 5, 2022.
daily mirrorin its report, Saturday (15/4/2023), began analyzing leaked US intelligence data that appeared in platform Discord—with a focus on the power struggle in the Kremlin and the alleged subversive plots of some in the Russian leadership.
“Russia’s military leadership allegedly has plans to sabotage the war to the detriment of Putin,” the German media wrote, citing leaked classified US military documents.
The source of the information in one of the classified documents was a so-called “well-known Ukrainian source” as well as a Russian source with access to the Kremlin.
Ukrainian sources claim that there are attempts to sabotage Russia’s aggressive war within the ranks of Moscow’s military leadership.
It said Patrushev and General Gerasimov—the chief of the Russian General Staff and commander-in-chief of Russian troops in Ukraine—were behind the sabotage attempt.
