Elon Musk is making plans to establish an artificial intelligence startup to rival OpenAI, according to the Financial Times, which said the billionaire is assembling a team of researchers and engineers to work on the project.
Elon Musk is also in discussions with investors from “Tesla” and “SpaceX” about helping to finance the project, according to what the newspaper quoted people familiar with the matter, whose identities were not disclosed.
