During the Brazilian’s state visit to Beijing, the heads of government emphasized their strategic ties, but there was little progress on specific projects.
It was the largest delegation in years with which Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva set out on a three-day visit to China. More than 200 entrepreneurs, eight ministers and dozens of members of Congress and governors accompanied Lula on the trip, which was delayed three weeks due to pneumonia.
