PST: Russian intelligence was present at Arendalsuka
PST believes that Russian intelligence officers were present at Arendalsuka. Dag Røhjell, adviser in PST, says this to NRK.
– Arendal Week is an important meeting point for Norwegian politics and business. It is therefore a natural point of interest for Russia, he says.
Røhjell says the intelligence officers may have said they were Russian diplomats, business leaders or consultants. The aim was probably to collect information and map, and perhaps also to establish relationships with certain people.
