“MDRH Calls for Modernization of Rotterdam Tram Network”

The Metropolitan Region Rotterdam The Hague (MDRH) is responsible for public transport in the region. This cooperative organization of 23 municipalities believes that the Rotterdam tram network should be modernized. On parts of routes where there are few passengers (tram 4, 7 and 8), the tram line must be shortened and replaced by a bus connection. On other, busy routes, the tram must run faster and more often.
