Manchester United’s bad luck in the duel against Sevilla started from the failure of several good opportunities. First, there was Jadon Sancho’s goal which had to be disallowed for offside.
Second, there was an opportunity for Antony in the 61st minute to hit the goalpost. Antony had put the ball at an angle that was difficult for Bounou to reach, but there were goalposts in the way.
Throughout the match, United had five chances on target. Two of them were from Malacia and Casemiro’s efforts which the opponent could block. United have not been in a streak.

Manchester United should win over Sevilla. In fact, it is quite possible to score more than two goals. However, bad luck made United have to settle for a 2-2 draw.
Sevilla got two own goals from United players. In the process of the first goal, of course, Malacia’s error contributed to her not throwing the ball away even though Jesus Navas was behind her.
Well, Harry Maguire’s own goal was the pinnacle of United’s bad luck. Maguire was just in the wrong position and En-Nesyri’s header accidentally hit him. Unlucky for United and Maguire.

United’s list of injured players has increased and Erik ten Hag is certain to be even more dizzy after the match against Sevilla.
Before the match, there was Marcus Rashford who had to be in the treatment room. Now, two players are following, namely Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez.
If their condition is bad and they have to miss the second leg against Sevilla, then Ten Hag doesn’t have many options. Luke Shaw is also still injured. So, only Victor Lindelof and Harry Maguire are ready to play.

Ten Hag can hope Rashford recovers soon and plays in the second leg. It’s just that, hope that will not happen in the case of Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes is confirmed to miss the second leg at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan. This is because the 28-year-old player must undergo a yellow card accumulation sanction. Fernandes has received three yellow cards.
Casemiro and Facundo Pellistri must also be careful in the second leg. Because they have received two yellow cards. If they receive another yellow card -and United qualify for the semi-finals- they will be out.
