Electronic Arts introduced the second cinematic trailer Immortals of Aveum, this time with gameplay footage. The studio is developing a magic shooter Ascendant under the direction of Brett Robbinswho previously served as creative director of the first Dead Space. The team also includes people from Telltale Games, Sledgehammer Games and Visceral Games.
The video showed the beginning of the plot along with the characters, instead of machines using magic. Events unfold in a fantasy universe. Players will take control of Jak, who will join the Order of the Immortals to take part in the war for control of magic.
Immortals of Aveum will be released July 20, 2023 на PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S и PC. The passage will take about 25 hours. The developers promise to include elements of metroidvania in the game, as well as the ability to improve equipment and learn abilities.
