Host Rey Koranteng went back to his childhood when he recalled playing The Three Musketeers. At the premiere of the new French film of the same name, he brought out his beautiful wife and in an interview with eXtra, he talked about the daughters he would never trade for sons.
It will be almost thirty years since Rey Koranteng has been working at TV Nova. He is not only successful at work, he also leads a happy life with his wife Monika, with whom he has three daughters: Vanessa, Sophia and Leontýna. And even though he is surrounded by women at home, he admitted in an interview to eXtra.cz that he would not trade daughters for sons.
Daughters are fun
“After the birth of my first daughter, I only prayed for the girls, because we were doing terrible shit. The thought of my sons doing that would scare me.” Rey said.
At the premiere of The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan appeared alongside his wife and said that he played the musketeer as a little boy. “We always played it in the park in Prague with the boys. I think that belongs to every boy’s childhood.” stated Rey who was very much looking forward to the new version of the movie.
Rey moderated this year’s election
Rey Koranteng was also one of the main moderators during this year’s presidential elections, when he led political debates with Andrej Babiš and General Petr Pavel. During his time at TV Nova, he was able to develop into a top professional and did not even have stage fright during election interviews. “I wasn’t nervous, I was curious how the candidates would react, what mood they would be in, how they would answer and in what spirit the whole debate would take place,” he said in an interview for eXtra.cz.
