It was said that the old video clip dates back to January 2022, when it was published on TikTok with hashtags related to Pakistan, according to the “Misbar” website, which is an Arab platform for checking news and fact-finding.
It is noteworthy that a video clip spread widely on social media, showing a snapshot in which a cat stormed the mihrab and climbed onto the shoulder of the imam, and the scene impressed hundreds of thousands around the world.
The scene spread quickly on various social media platforms, as tweeters praised the steadfastness of the imam, who continued to pray without frightening the cat or trying to drive it away.
The cat appeared resting on the shoulder of the imam, during his recitation of the Qur’an during Tarawih prayers, and then left him at a moment almost a second before he bowed.
