The Plenary Session of the City Council of A Coruña has given the green light this Thursday, April 13, to a modification of credit in the amount of 10,843,738.48 euros. This measure will make it possible to undertake the works at the accesses to the New CHUAC, in addition to increasing the resources of the Fire Service and defraying the annual payments corresponding to the Xuxán urbanization works.
The local government also plans to finance the urban rehabilitation interventions linked to the Eidus and Next Generation funds, and the items committed in the 2022 Works and Services Plan (POS) of the Provincial Council within this amendment that includes extraordinary credits for a value of 4.7 million and supplements of 6.1 million.
The Councilor for Economy, Finance and Internal Regime of the City Council of A Coruña, José Manuel Lage, pointed out it’s a “good time” to give a boost to a “realistic proposal”, more taking into account that the Herculean city “is one of the localities that is attracting the most European funds with the aim of undertaking ongoing projects”. Thus, this amendment also includes extraordinary credits destined to mobility improvement actions in Agra do Orzán, Sagrada Familia, Palavea, Elviña, Castro de Elviña, San Cristovo and A Zapateira.
