Started in 2021, the Pablo-Neruda school expansion and restructuring project in Pontault-Combault (Seine-et-Marne) is continuing with delivery expected in 2023. Covering an area of nearly of 2,500 m², this rehabilitation program is estimated at more than 3.6 million euros.
The works include the construction of an additional classroom in the “hollow tooth” of Building A, and the demolition of the existing Buildings B and C. Another building will be built to house the elementary school, the refectory and the elementary canopy. The kindergarten will also benefit from rehabilitation to accommodate six classes, a leisure center as well as various rooms and technical rooms. The installation and replacement of intrusion detectors are also planned.
In addition, a demolition-reconstruction operation is also scheduled for the Van-Gogh college in Émerainville (Seine-et-Marne). The objective is to increase the reception capacity to 450 pupils. The start of work is scheduled for the end of 2023 for a period of two years. The total amount of the project amounts to approximately 19 million euros.
