At least two videos have circulated on social media in the past week showing war atrocities in Ukraine in which the heads of Kiev soldiers were beheaded. Photos/Illustrations
The videos appear to be of two separate events with one of them likely having been recently filmed, while the other, judging by the amount of leaves on the ground, appears to have been taken during the summer.
The first video was posted to pro-Russia social media channels on April 8. The video was purportedly shot by Russian mercenaries from Wagner’s group and appears to show the decapitated bodies of two Ukrainian soldiers lying on the ground next to a destroyed military vehicle.
In the video, a voice is heard, behind the camera, the voice appears distorted to prevent identification of the speaker.
“(The armored vehicle) was hit by a mine,” said the voice, speaking Russian CNNThursday (13/4/2023).
The voice apparently referred to the corpses on the ground. Laughing, he continued: “The mines killed them. Someone comes to them. They came to them and beheaded them.”
The soldiers who died also appear to have had their hands cut off.
