Four Army jawans killed in firing at Bathinda military station, search operations underway, missing INSAS rifle found, no terrorism angle suspected.

Four Indian Army soldiers were killed in a firing incident at the Bathinda military station in the state of Punjab on October 21. Two masked suspects in kurta-pyjamas, armed with a rifle and an axe, were seen running away from the scene after the attack. A search operation was launched to apprehend the suspects, and a missing INSAS rifle was also recovered. The police have ruled out terrorism as a motive for the attack, and an investigation into the incident is ongoing.
