We finally know when Xiaomi intends to present its best smartphone of 2023. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be announced on April 18, as the manufacturer has started discussing the technical data sheet.
after Leaks have emerged from the retailer on its website, about the date of the unveiling of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra phone. Xiaomi just confirmed the news today, and invited fans to watch the launch conference next Tuesday.
On the invite, Xiaomi is giving us a glimpse of the device’s design, especially the photo module on the back. The back of the smartphone will be covered in leather, and in the middle you will find a large circular photo module consisting of 4 different sensors. Like every year, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra promises to shine, thanks to its great cameras and its new partnership with Leica. This thus confirms the design shared yesterday by the famous leaker OnLeaks.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra is equipped with proprietary lenses signed by Leica
On the back of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra, we notice the mention of Summicron, which indicates that Leica has placed its own lens in front of the smartphone’s sensors. Several other posters shared by Xiaomi indicate that these are the most advanced smartphone lenses on the market, and they promise more resistance than others.
Xiaomi plans to equip its Xiaomi 13 Ultra with 4 cameras on the back, and will choose large sensors this year. There will be a 50MP (1 inch) IMX989 wide-angle lens, an IMX858 50MP ultra wide angle, and an IMX858 50MP 3X telephoto lens, as well as an IMX858 50MP 5X telescope. The main camera will not be identical to that of other high-end smartphones, as the Chinese company plans to introduce a variable aperture, in order to make its smartphone more versatile.
