Al-Marsad Sports: The Arbitration Department of the Referees Committee of the Saudi Football Association revealed the extent of Al-Hilal’s eligibility to obtain a penalty kick during the Al-Shabab match, which was held in the twenty-second round of the Roshan League competition, last Friday evening.
The arbitration department acknowledged that there was a correct penalty kick for Al-Hilal team in front of Al-Shabab at the “52nd” minute, which was not counted by the referee, Majed Al-Shamrani, who managed the match, according to what was published by the official Football Association channel on YouTube.
The arbitration department also approved the decision of referee Majid Al-Shamrani to issue a red card to Colombian Gustavo Cuellar, Al-Hilal midfielder, after his altercation with Aaron Popendoza, the youth professional, during the events of the match.
Al-Shabab won the Al-Hilal derby with three goals without a response, in the match that was held at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium in Riyadh, last Friday.
