The Union CSIF Huelva will celebrate the fifth edition of its Moto-Solidarity Route next Saturday May 6 with the aim of donating food to Red Cross. The participation of more than 200 motorcycles, coming from different provinces, and around 300 people is expected. To participate in this solidarity initiative, which started in 2017, each attendee must provide three kilos of non-perishable food that will go to the Red Cross. The provisions will be collected at the initial meeting, prior to the beginning of the route, starting at half past nine in the morning in the viewpoint of El Conquero of the capital, from where later the tour will begin around eleven in the morning.
On this occasion, the ruta will understand a circular path, close to 152 kilometers, between Huelva – Berrocal – La Palma – Huelva. Once the itinerary through the province is finished, the motorcycles will travel an exhibition circuit through various streets and avenues of the Huelva capital. The Prohibited of the procession to Huelva is planned on the two p.m.
As a novelty, the route will have a controlled lap in the Monteblanco circuitin La Palma del Condado, where attendees will be able to see the facilities of the circuit and ride on the track.
Next to the viewpoint of El Conquero, the meeting point of this V Moto-Solidarity Route, an extensive program of activities is planned at the end of the tour that includes a twinning meal, as well as live concerts, entertainment, raffles and delivery of trophies and gifts for the participants. The registration deadline is Tuesday, May 3 and the document to sign up can be obtained on the CSIF-Huelva website, which, once filled out, must be sent to the union’s courtesy email at protocolo21@csif.es.
The president of CSIF-Huelva, Juan Manuel Quilón, hopes to be able to surpass the 1,200 kilos of food non-perishable items that were collected in 2022 to donate to the Red Cross, thus reinforcing “the union’s social commitment”. For Quilón, “this initiative has become a benchmark for solidarity in Huelva and an event that has, every year, greater participation and social involvement.” Combining, once again, motorcycling with the values of solidarity and twinning.
In addition, the union leader thanks the collaborating firms Grupo Conquero Automoción, Mandala Mirador, Circuito de Monteblanco, Vialmotor and the Huelva City Council, because they promote this “altruistic” initiative. In this sense, the highest union official in the province recalls that “this is an initiative open to all interested parties -whether they are affiliated or not- with free registration and a single contribution of three kilos of food for the benefit of the Red Cross.” In the same way, he emphasizes that the twinning meal and the activities program do not have any additional cost.
