The driver of the e-bike was seriously injured in a collision between a delivery truck and an e-bike driver on Tuesday morning in Aathal (Seegräben municipality).
The accident happened just before 6 a.m. when the 64-year-old driver of the delivery van was driving on Zürichstrasse in the direction of Wetzikon and wanted to turn right into a parking lot. This resulted in a collision with the oncoming e-bike rider.
The 41-year-old woman, who was wearing a helmet, was seriously injured. She was taken to a hospital after receiving first aid at the scene.
