ON HOLY SATURDAY the DRK local association in Elzach held a blood donation appointment in good tradition. Significantly more people willing to donate than were registered via the online booking took advantage of the opportunity. Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., 207 multiple donors and ten first-time donors were counted, from each of whom 500 milliliters of blood were taken. The good result from the pre-Corona year 2019 with 212 repeat and nine first-time donors was almost reached. The DRK Elzach was on site with 17 emergency services, eight helpers and two doctors from the blood donation service. After the donation, you could strengthen yourself at a buffet.
