As “Forum Cinemas” informed the Jauns.lv portal, the film will feature exclusive interviews with “Metallica”, in which all its members will reveal behind-the-scenes stories and stories about every song on the album, as well as their video clips.
In the advance sale of the show, ticket buyers can buy a souvenir – a group postcard with the theme “Metallica: 72 Seasons – Global Premiere”. During the event, special contests have been planned for visitors, in which they will have the opportunity to win “Metallica” paraphernalia, but the band itself also promises various surprises for the viewers of the film.
72 Seasons is Metallica’s long-awaited 12th studio album, preceded by the November 28, 2022 release of its first single, Lux Æterna, which upon its release was described as “stormy, stunning” (Billboard), “devastating ” (“Rolling Stone”) and “wild” (“USA Today”).
The 12-song album is the band’s first effort of this size since 2016’s studio album Hardwired… To Self-Destruct.
