Former Federer Coach Ivan Ljubicic Challenges Alexander Zverev’s Claim on Roland Garros

“For several reasons, I could have done it. I don’t want to sound arrogant (…) But I felt this could have been my week”Alexander Zverev recently declared at the microphone ofEurosport about his retirement against Rafael Nadal following a terrible fall in the semi-finals of the last Roland-Garros.

Ivan Ljubicic, former coach of Roger Federer and now an employee of the French Tennis Federation commented on this outing without citing the German.

“No one wants to sound arrogant but everyone claims to have almost won Roland Garros last year. I like this ! Let’s go with the trash‐talk! »the Croatian wrote on Twitter, apparently amused by the statement.

To see now if Zverev will respond after his 1is round in Monte‐Carlo against Alexander Bublik.
