The famous singer Laima Vaikule, who supports Ukraine and stands against Russian aggression, talked about her recent interview with Ksenia Sobchak. It turned out that the journalist cut out a fragment in which the artist belittled all residents of the Russian Federation, writes unian.net.
Vaikule told how the Russians can atone for their guilt in front of the Ukrainians. According to the singer, it is not worth talking about friendship, but the people of the Russian Federation should definitely apologize.
“It won’t be soon, I think you have to get on your knees and apologize,” Vaikule said while talking to Dmitry Gordon.
In addition, the singer noted that she was very saddened by the full-scale war waged by the Russian Federation against Ukraine. She believes that Putin must muster the courage to give the Russian military a new command.
“Take all your guns and leave… Get out of my house… I’m very sad that this is happening, to say the least. And I wish it would happen tomorrow, it’s all over. And it’s possible. . . You just there should be respect. You just have to tell Putin, ‘That’s it, guys, we’re going.’ And it’s over,” Vaikule said.
However, Gordon noted that Putin does not dare to say this. The dictator is afraid that the military of the Russian Federation will “finish” him. Vaikule herself believes that Ukraine will still defeat the aggressor state. According to the singer, she is very proud of President Vladimir Zelensky and his behavior.
